On June 5th, 2009 he graduated from College of the Canyons with his Associate of Arts degree in Graphic and Multimedia Design, emphasis on Web Design. It took longer then most may have done it. But he has struggled with his epilepsy through it all.
Back in July, 2004 he had brain surgery to take away his seizures. It didn't work and he continues to struggle with daily seizures and tiredness from the three different meds he is on to "control" the seizures. (I put in quotations because there has been minimal control all of his 23 years)
As you can see this has been quite an accomplishment for our young man. Now he needs to focus on building his carreer in web design. That being said, if you know of anyone whom may need or want to start up or maintain their web site please give Pat a call. Currently he will be working under our company, RLA, www.rla-assist.com. In the future it would be great for him to either work independently or under a new company.
Please continue to pray for his health and his growth as a man who desires to be independent of us in many ways.
