I am reminded of the days long gone when we came home to Cunningham home with a pony. I thought I had made a mistake when we discovered the hooves had not been trimmed in a goodly time. Could you even realize that this was one of my firsts in finding equality in my marriage-- women being equal to men? Your dad was not involved in my decision at all. Looking back I believe you, Amy and Joan were present with my decision. Yes, Lexie and Goldie began the emancipation of women in our household. It was merely the beginning. Peace to all, Mother
