Life Uninterrupted

I Am Here. Not there but here. Life is but a freight train headed north and south and east and west all at the same time. The Rennie Clan has undergone some great things in a few months. Let me give you the highlights.
John and I stole away for a trip to Disneyland. We haven't been there for quite sometime. Such memories. I became teary eyed as we walked under the train and entered the main street. This was the place of my preteen and teen years. Many hours of pure fun.
To make things even more fun, our good friends, Jeff and Debi showed up.
March was the Great Birthday month. Not only does the month of March include great ones such as Ron Howard, Jon Bon Jovi and Dr. Suess, it also includes my brother-in-law, Paul, my niece Meghan, but most importantly me and Dakota.
We had a great celebration for our little Dakota Jo Ann's big first Birthday. Amy, Caidan, Chris, Patty, Eric, Meghan, Robb, Nancy, Emily, Joan, Paul and Stewart were able to join us and many great friends.

As you can see, Dakota taught those of us in attendance of her gala how to properly eat you Birthday cake.
We were fortunate enough to have Jenn, Shawn and Dakota with us for the week. What a joy it was. Short time, but precious time.
The day before the Keyes left us, we were joined by or newest family member.
His name is Didier Dogba Rennie, born January 31st, 2010. Named after...da da dah...a professional futballer from the Ivory Coast, currently playing for Chelsea United. He's a gorgeous rottweiler. Full of himself and already in control of the rest of us.
Just like a Rennie. No respect for the woman behind the camera.
But cute none the less.

We move on...April. Not that April doesn't have a few famous Birthdays either. Some included are Lon Chaney, SR, Alec Baldwin (oo sorry, John), Tony Orland and Doris Day. But the best of the best was John's. Yup he is now %! years old. His Birthday was quiet and sweet. Dinner with family and friends, and a GREAT gift from LaChelle. "I'll be your Huckleberry"
And then things slowed a little bit. We began to catch up on our house , yard and work work. And now that we are almost caught up, John and I are leaving for Vegas baby. We are going to see Brookes and Dunn The Last Rodeo Tour. A great Birthday surprise from John for my Birthday.

You All Take Care. I will try to stay in touch better in the months to come.
